The St. Hubert Mass, accompanied by a solemn procession featuring a hunted deer and offerings from nature, is a great tribute to nature—a dignified ceremony where hunters thank the Creator for living nature. Each year introduces new, interesting exhibitions.
The Slovak Hunting Association and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, under whose auspices the celebrations are held, use the occasion to present awards to deserving hunters. During the St. Hubert Days in 1999, Archbishop Mons. Ján Sokol, Metropolitan of Slovakia, consecrated the St. Hubert Chapel, built with the help of hunters from across Slovakia. In 2000, the representative publication *The Manor in Svätý Anton* was launched and "christened," and in 2001, the 3rd European Deer Calling Championships were held with the highest participation, prizes, and accompanying programs to date.
The St. Hubert Days are an excellent opportunity—offering both education and entertainment for all lovers of culture, nature, and hunting.
