Hunting chateau bought by Bulgarian tzar Ferdinand Coburg in the first half of the 20-th century at a hunting fair in Vienna. He wisely chose Predna Hora as a location for the building as he used to like and visit the area as a Bulgarian tzar. It was the place where he could relax and devote his free time to his favorite hobbies - botany and hunting.
At that time he started to build a mansion nearby (currently it is a location of The specialized psychiatric sanatorium) but failed to complete it. Visitors can find out some facts about life and history of The Coburg House through the guided tour in the exposition located in five rooms.
For example, you can see the place where Ferdinand hosted his visitors, his desk, a collection of family photos, watercolours by Arno Muller or copies of prints by a German painter and copper carver Johann Elias Ridinger. You shouldn't miss a showcase with artifacts made of antlers, wild boar tusks and other items with hunting motifs.
